Na ob das wirklich so eine gute Idee ist? Wahrscheinlich kommt ihm dann eh wieder sein Tool-Time-Instinkt hoch, und dann brauc es niichtmal mehr eines feindlichen Schiffes um die Enterprise raum- und kampfunfähig zu machen

Dann wäre es eben keine reine SiFi Serie mehr sondern eher eine Comedy-SiFi Serie.... allerdings hätten wir dann auch mehr Gelegenheit diesem Doktor Plonx (oder wie der nochmal heißen soll) bei der Arbeit zuzusehen !!!!!

hoffentlich wird bald eine Fortsetzung gedreht...

Ansonsten finde ich, dass Bakula seine Arbeit gar nicht so schlecht macht. Viel nerviger find ich so einen Neelix-Nachfolger wie Dr. Phlox.

Also Phlox ist sicher keine Neelix-Kopie! Schon alleine die Kultur der Rasse ist abgefahren! z.B.: Hat in ihrer Kultur jede Frau zwei Ehemänner! Man muss abwarten wie die Autoren diese Figur entwickeln! An Phlox gibt es nichts auszusetzen!

Okay, es ist vielleicht übertrieben. Ich hab auch noch keine Folge gesehen, in denen er die Hauptrolle spielt. Ich hoffe nur, dass er nicht immer dann eingesetzt wird, um die Situation aufzulockern oder um einen dummen Witz zu machen.
Es soll ja auch schon interessante Folgen mit ihm gegeben haben...

Ich stimmte eben für Scott Bakula ab. Ich glaube, dass er seinen Job gut machen wird. Habe ich so im Gefühl.

btw. Wie stieß ich auf diesen Thread? Ich suchte eben nach dem neuen Tom Clancy Film (Sum Of All Fears mit Morgan Freeman und Ben Affleck), dann suchte ich weiter nach Clancy Filmen und stellte fest, dass auch Netforce im TV lief. Und wer spielte dort mit? - RICHTIG unser Bakula. Nun stellt sich mir die Frage, gabs die auch mal im dt. Fernsehen?

Ich habe bis jetzt nur den Pilot gesehen und ich fand auch, dass Scott Bakula echt nen klasse Captain abgibt! Ich habe ihn schon in mehreren Filmen gesehen und er ist ein genialer Schauspieler, finde ich!

Bakula war bei Netforce dabei? Das wusste ich gar nicht! Empfehlenswert? War das nicht so ne Mini-Serie?

Und ein neuer Clancy-Film? Wann? Wo? Wie?

Angeblich wird in den USA gerade an Sum of All Fears/Das Echo aller Furcht (das mit der RAF und der Atombombe beim Superbowl) gedreht.

Fertig sein dürfte der Film/die Miniserie (kenne nur vage Gerüchte) wohl frühestens so Ostern 2003...

Based upon: The novel by Tom Clancy. This is the 4th film starring Clancy's character of Jack Ryan, and the third to star Harrison Ford in the role, following Patriot Games and Clear and Present Danger (Alec Baldwin played Ryan in The Hunt for Red October). It's worth noting that another Jack Ryan novel, Cardinal of the Kremlin, was long in development as well, but was eventually shelved due to its dependence upon Cold War tensions, which, obviously, aren't quite as topical anymore.

Premise Note: (2/1/01) The Muslim terrorists of the novel have been modernized for the film to be European neo-Nazi terrorists. (4/8/02) One might wonder why "modernized" was used in that previous post, but the reason is, that prior to September 11th, there was a move away from portraying Muslims as stock terrorist villains, partly because of consistent (and understandable) protests by Arab-American groups. But now, after 9/11, Islamic terrorists don't seem quite so "worn out" as villains... so this movie, in a way, is sort of a time capsule of our former innocence.

Premise: European neo-Nazi terrorists get their hands on a lost nuclear device, and set about on their plans to use it at the Super Bowl. The plan is to disguise the attack as being caused by Russia, in the hopes of rekindling the Cold War. Luckily, young CIA analyst Jack Ryan (Affleck) is on the case... (Schrieber plays a CIA operative; Moynahan plays his girlfriend, Freeman plays his mentor; Cromwell plays the president; Bates plays the main bad guy; Hinds plays Russia's president)

Premise Note: In the novel, Ryan is already CIA Director at this point, but to allow for the younger Ben Affleck to start this franchise anew, Jack Ryan is being de-aged to just being an analyst (and single, as well). This young version is closer to the version of Jack Ryan that Alec Baldwin played in The Hunt for Red October than Ford's.

Filming: Production started on February 12th, 2001 in Montreal before filming moves on to Washington D.C. and Baltimore. Other locations include Moscow, Haifa, and the Southern California desert. Filming wrapped on June 27th.

Ben Affleck Notes: (6/26/00) You can probably file this under "Yeah Right", but there are rumors in Hollywood (and in the British press) that Ben Affleck may be in talks to be the third actor to play Jack Ryan. This sounds like exactly the sort of thing he'll probably refute anyday now as hogwash; but, it's out there so I mention it. (7/7/00) As expected, Affleck's publicist did debunk this rumor, reported by columnist Jeffrey Wells. (7/11/00) Or not...? Variety columnist Michael Fleming reports today that Paramount is still pursuing Ben Affleck to relaunch the Jack Ryan series, starting with this film. (8/3/00) Variety's Michael Fleming has broken the news that yes, indeed, Ben Affleck has signed to be the third actor to play Jack Ryan.

Harrison Ford Notes: (2/9/00) This film does hinge upon Mr. Ford's participation, and it should be noted that he hasn't yet signed on officially. He is currently waiting for the newest rewrite, which Variety reports is expected in late February. On that schedule, we should hear sometime in March what direction this project is headed. (3/15/00) Well, there's been some news recently that bodes well for Harrison's participation in this film. First, he dropped out of Traffic, saying he wanted to do an "action movie" instead. With Steven Spielberg also considering his next project, there was some fan speculation that it could be Indiana Jones 4. However, with Steven Spielberg now committed for the next 18 months to A.I. and Minority Report, that puts this film in the spotlight as the most likely "action movie" Ford might've been referring to. (6/8/00) According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ford met with director Phillip Noyce about this project, but they couldn't work out problems with the current script, so he's passing for now. That doesn't mean he might not sign on to do it at some future point... but just not right now. (7/20/00) Ford told Access Hollywood that he's out of the Jack Ryan business, calling it "someone else's character now." (8/3/00) That someone else is Ben Affleck.

Greg's Preview Thoughts: (2/9/00) Harrison Ford has the unusual distinction of being a central figure in three of the most successful film franchises ever, namely Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and the Jack Ryan series (at least the last two films). The official word is that there won't be another film set in the time of Han Solo, and Indiana Jones 4 will have to wait for the schedules of George Lucas and Steven Spielberg to free up... So, here comes the possibility of a new Jack Ryan movie.

Ich persönlich finde, das Bakula die Rolle wie auf den Leib geschnitten ist. Er ist die richtige Wahl für den "ersten" Captain. Nur finde ich nach wie vor, dass seine Stimme nicht so ganz für ENT passt. Da hätte ich mir ne andere besser vorstellen können. Naja, vielleicht auch nur Gewöhnungssache.

die deutsche stimme hat bei mir ein paar schnunzler hervorgerufen, weil's ja die gleiche ist, wie die aus Quantum Leap. Aber damals hat sie auch gepasst. Zu einem Starfleet captain passt diese quiekige Stimme in keinster weise, wie ich finde.
So ein grossartiger Captain sollte nicht so piepsen, wie er es in den deutschen folgen tut.

Tim Allen wäre doch eine gute Besetzung für den Posten des Chefingenieurs:

"Der Warp-Antrieb braucht mehr Power! Ich werde ihn einfach ein bisschen aufmotzen. Außerdem könnte man das Schiff ein bisschen tiefer legen, sieht sicher cool aus. Ist mir doch egal, was mein Captain sagt. Nur weil er die gleiche Synchronstimme hat wie Al, muss er nicht immer recht haben. Also, was pasiert wohl, wenn ich diesen Schalter umlege? Hmm ..."

Ist das echt dieselbe Synchronstimme?
Und wieso klingt sie bei Al eigentlich ganz normal und bei Archer wie die von Donald Duck? Weil Archer auch so aussieht, wie ein hässliches Entlein?

Es ist definitiv die gleiche Stimme - und warum soll Archer wie ein hässliches Entlein aussehen? Ich bin eigentlich ganz froh, dass er seit Beginn der der 3. Staffel mit zerzausten Haaren rumläuft, das passt gut zu seiner geistigen Verfassung - hin und her gerissen!

Außerdem klingt die Stimme bei Al öfters auch recht quietschend.
