WORF
They [Tribbles] were once considered mortal
enemies of the Klingon Empire.
ODO
(holds up Tribble)
This... a mortal enemy of the
Empire?
WORF
They were an ecological menace!
A plague that had to be wiped out!
ODO
Wiped out? What're you saying?
WORF
(with relish)
Hundreds of warriors were sent to
track them down throughout the
galaxy. An armada obliterated the
Tribbles' homeworld. By the end
of the twenty-third century, they
were eradicated.

Jhdt.
TAIN
(to Garak)
Our plan is to wait until we've
entered orbit of the Founders' planet,
then decloak and begin a massive
bombardment.
LOVOK
Computer analysis indicates that the
planet's crust will be destroyed
within one hour, and the mantle within
five.

PILOT
(off console)
The first barrage has hit the
surface...
TAIN
Effect?
PILOT
Thirty percent of the planetary crust
destroyed on opening volley...
(puzzled)
No change in lifeform readings.

DAX
A similar subspace rupture was
reported in the Hanoli System in the
mid twenty-third century...

reported in the Hanoli System in the
mid twenty-third century...
O'BRIEN
A Vulcan science mission to the Hanoli
rift detonated a pulse wave torpedo
at the coordinates of the tear...
DAX
Five minutes after they did, the
rupture expanded radically...
O'BRIEN
They were wiped out along with the
entire Hanoli system...
KIRA
What happened to the rupture after
that... it's not still there... ?
(implied: is it?)
DAX
It reached a critical mass point and
imploded... and then disappeared
from normal space altogether.
