Simon & Schuster hat nun eine erste Übersicht der für 2011 angekündigten Star Trek-Romane veröffentlicht:
Nach dem eher für mich weniger interessanten Jahr 2010 wirds 2011 wieder ein bisschen mehr für mich geben.
Schön, dass "Vanguard" endlich fortgesetzt wird, wenn's auch wohl keine typischen Romane sondern eher Geschichtssammlungen zu parallel zu den ersten 5 Romanen stattfindenden Ereignissen sein werden.
Auch mit "Romulan War" geht's weiter, wieder von Michael Martin alleine verfasst. "Beneath the raptor's wing" war ganz okay, wenn auch nicht wirklich sehr gut. Mal sehen, ob er mit dem zweiten Buch die Kurve kratzen kann, dürfte aber wohl ähnlich wieder die Handlungen von einem ganzen Kriegsjahr zusammenfassen. Mal abwarten.
Das Finale der "Typhon Pact"-Reihe war ja schon länger angekündigt, das wird ein Fixkauf. "Indistinguishable From Magic " hört sich von der Personenkonstellation sehr interessant an und soll zeitlich den "Typhon Pact"-Romanen folgen. Bin mal gespannt, ob diese Reihe ähnlichen Einfluss auf die einzelnen Serien haben wird, wie "Destiny". Vor allem auf "Titan" wären Auswirkungen nicht schlecht. "Titan" macht 2011 ja mal Pause.
Ob das erste Buch über die Temporale Ermittlung der Föderation wirklich einschlägt, wage ich ein bisschen zu bezweifeln. Kommt wohl darauf an, ob man sich traut, ein bisschen Richtung Parodie zu gehen.
