Anscheinend ist eine neue Star Trek Serie in Produktion.

CBS has just confirmed that a new Trek series is being developed and will debut in January 2017 both on CBS and later exclusively on CBS All Access for streaming subscribers. The promised show will be the first new series to hit TV screens since the cancellation of Star Trek: Enterprise in 2005.

Star Trek film producer Alex Kurtzman is reportedly working on the project at CBS Television Studies, and the search for a writer is already underway. The announcement comes just in time for the series' 50th anniversary. However, details about the new effort are currently thin.

Wird wohl stimmen. Auch startrek.com meldet eine neue Serie mit Start im Jänner 2017 - in den USA über einen Streaming-Dienst von CBS aber auch international über TV und andere Plattformen verfügbar.

Kurtzman... well shit. Nun ja, vielleicht taugt er als Producer, auch wenn sein Resumé vor allem mit Projekten gefüllt ist, die ich nicht mit der Kneifzange anfassen würde.
