Lost in Time

Leider sind ja immer noch viele Folgen aus der Hartnell- und besonders der Troughton-Zeit verschollen. Darunter sind leider einige Perlen, und man kann nur hoffen, dass nach und nach in irgendwelchen Kellern oder Dachböden doch noch die eine oder andere Folge gefunden wird.
(Man hat schließlich sogar zwei Episoden aus "The Daleks' Master Plan" in einem Keller eines Gebäudes gefunden, das eine Mormonengruppierung von der BBC erworben hatte.)

Zum Glück sind alle Folgen als Audiomitschnitt erhalten und zum Teil auch als CD verfügbar:

Vielleicht werden einige davon nach und nach auch in der einen oder anderen Form restauriert, z. B. mit erhaltenen Resten und Szenenfotos oder als Flash-Animation, wie es wirklich wundervoll bei "The Invasion" gemacht wurde: http://www.scifi-forum.de/science-fi...-invasion.html

2004 hat die BBC unter dem Titel "Lost in Time" auf drei DVDs einige der noch erhaltenen Folgen veröffentlicht, so dass man eine Ahnung davon bekommt, was bisher leider verloren zu sein scheint.
